My art is about interconnectedness

My art is about interconnectedness and how singular elements come together to form an element greater than the sum of its parts.

One of my primary techniques consists of drawing repetitive patterns by hand. I take simple geometric shapes and repeat them in ways that feel natural to me; as the work progresses, the mood of the work emerges from the shapes of the whole and its parts. Sometimes I choose to begin with certain shapes when I set out to make art, and sometimes the shapes emerge organically from the unconscious of my pen.

My artworks are an extension of myself. They reflect my philosophy in life : to accept the uncertainty of the outcome and to be in the present moment.
